At least four Palestinian civilians were martyred and others injured early Thursday morning in Israeli shelling of several areas in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that two civilians were martyred when the Israeli occupation bombed a tent housing displaced persons south of the town of Al-Qarara, northwest of Khan Yunis.
A child was also martyred in artillery shelling of Al-Amur neighborhood in the town of Al-Fakhari, east of the city.
A citizen was martyred when a tent housing displaced persons was shelled northwest of the city of Al-Zahraa, central Gaza Strip, WAFA added.
Israeli artillery continues its intensive shelling of the eastern areas of Gaza City, while Israeli aircraft launched raids targeting the northern areas of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, WAFA noted.
Israeli artillery also shelled areas in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, and the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring more than 166,000, most of them children and women and more than 11,000 missing.
