Belarus on Monday reaffirmed its full solidarity with Cuba, telling Cuba's ambassador that Minsk rejects all unilateral sanctions.

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov met Cuban Ambassador to Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez to discuss the situation around Cuba and restate Belarus' unwavering support for the Cuban people.

Ryzhenkov reiterated Minsk's opposition to any unilateral coercive measures and stressed that disputes must be resolved through peaceful dialogue within the framework of international law.

Both sides pledged to maintain the positive momentum generated by last year's high-level visits, confirming plans to advance the 2025 bilateral agreements across trade, health and education.
