Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday the United States has no justification to deprive Iran of its legal nuclear rights, the Iranian Students News Agency reported.

Pezeshkian said U.S. President Donald Trump's claim that Iran should not exercise its nuclear rights is unreasonable, adding that Washington had not explained "what crime" Iran had committed.

He also said Iran is working to bring the conflict to an end "with dignity.
