The Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters 2025 kicked off on Friday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, drawing in many top players, including world No. 1 Judd Trump and World Championship winner Zhao Xintong.
Judd Trump returns as the defending champion. In last year's final, which was held in Riyadh, Trump staged a remarkable comeback against Mark Williams, overturning a 62-0 deficit in the deciding frame with a stunning 72-point clearance to win 10-9.
A total of 144 players are competing in this year's tournament. The lineup includes world-class stars such as Kyren Wilson, Mark Williams, John Higgins, and Ronnie O'Sullivan, as well as a strong Chinese contingent featuring veterans and rising stars like Zhao Xintong, Ding Junhui, Zhang Anda, and Si Jiahui.
According to the rules, the top 16 seeds automatically qualify for the last 32 and will begin their matches on Tuesday with the final scheduled to take place on next Saturday.
