Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the whole region is paying the price of the Israeli aggression.
In a televised address following a government meeting at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, Erdogan added that the region where Turkiye is located has been grappling with the most difficult days in recent years.
Erdogan remarked that the incumbent Israeli government, by drawing on war, is continuing to drag the region into instability through its "provocations and plans".
He continued that Israel gradually occupies the Palestinian territories with no qualms about fundamental human rights in the region and tramples on international law.
In addition, Erdogan said Israel's occupation actions, unlawful settlements, alongside its displacement, intimidation, and repression policies against the Palestinians in the West Bank, as it did in Gaza, pose the main source of problems in the region.
He further emphasized that the price of this aggression is not being paid only by the Palestinian brothers or the brotherly Lebanese people, but that multiple religious components and the entire region are bearing its consequences.
